On this episode of LivinRvision, we are making our next stop to West Virginia to see Americas newest National Park, the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve. Along the way, we find a little hidden gem country store that has a lot of variety to choose from.
As you know, we are in a rush to get as much content as we can while we make our way back to visit family and friends and most days that we get are very limited on how much time we can spend at each stop or how many stops we can make before we need to keep going. So we have to be choosy, do some research and figure out what we think would be the best spots to stop at that will make the best out of the little time we have. Our intentions are to have enough content to edit for a few weeks while we are visiting family and friends on the weekends, so that we don’t have to film on the weekends like we normally do. Then, once we leave Iowa again, we will be back to our “normal” schedule.
Our next stop tin the New River Gorge National Park takes us to the Grandview Main Overlook! This is a must stop! The views here are spectacular and if you have the time, there are nearby trails that you can take for more beautiful views. Just be sure to bring your favorite bugs spray. 🦟
As we continue to travel, we decide to stop in a historic little ghost town called, Thurman. This little town only has one way in and it is a LONG railroad bridge that is only a ONE WAY, so make sure you don’t see any other vehicles crossing when you decide to drive across. We also share some very interesting history about this little ghost town as well.
Next, we are heading for the New River Gorge Bridge which is known as one of the main attractions of this National Park and for good reason! We hope you enjoy and have a few laughs along the way! 😁🤓
