On this episode of LivinRvision, we visit New York City! We found a perfect campground that is right along the East River with a skyline view of Manhattan with water, electric, a dump station, shower and a drive-in, yes, a drive-in theater with three different movies! This is a perfect spot to keep your RV and take the ferry or subway to explore the city. We were in New York City over ten years ago but there was a lot that we didn’t get to see then that we wanted to see this time.
The first day was late so we just walked the streets and visited the 911 Memorial and found what was probably the best gluten free pizza we have ever had! The next morning we took the ferry over to Pier 11 again and walked over to take a cruise over to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, where we were able to find out some very interesting information about our grandparents.
The next day was a very busy day. We had to be up and ready before the sunrise to get down to the Rockefeller Plaza to see the Today Show live. We didn’t want to take any chances of getting there late so we scheduled an Uber that dropped us off right at The Plaza check-in for the show. The rest of the day we spent going up to the top of Rockefeller Center (Top Of The Rock) and the Empire State Building.
There’s a lot to see and learn in this episode, so enjoy the show!
